yes, I am aware that I am a loser for adding z's to the ends of words. It won't happen again I promise.

I broke down and used a layout code. I just could not find an LJ layout that I liked. This was so much easier anyway, just copying and pasting in a code. This lovely beachy blue layout is by [info]minty_peach

so I also finally got a Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty today. I know it was a horrible thing to do, and I feel horrible about it, but that was overshadowed by how delicious it was! For some reason, I have just really craved toffee a lot lately.

I've been playing Pokemon Platinum like a pathetic loser for weeks now. I got the strategy guide which is like this 600 page book with pretty much everything you've ever wanted to know about that game in it. It's like a bible for Pokenerds like myself. I loooooove it! It has helped me out a lot too. *sigh* only in the Summer when there is nothing to do (on days that I don't work). I'd never get away with this geekery during the school year. And by the way, that is a Pokemon icon I'm using. B)

Oh, and just so you all know, not that anyone really cares. Wednesday and Thursday I'll be  down at the University of Illinois (U of I) in Champaign-Urbana with my family and one of my sister's friends (the one who she will be roomies with) so that my sister can register for school. I'm actually kind of excited. I've only been to one other University campus and that was at Western Illinois University when I went there for a week for Art Camp after 5th grade.

This weekend on Sunday (the 21st) is both Fathers Day AND my Mom's birthday!!! How often does that happen? In fact, I don't think it's ever happened, at least in my lifetime. Luckily, I was able to get gifts for both. My sister and I said that Saturday we'd celebrate Father's Day though my dad probably won't want to do anything, and then on Sunday, we'd celebrate mom's b-day. Then my sis's b-day is the Saturday after that, The 27th. Crazay!

Sometime next week (on a weekday when I'm not working), we're taking a mini vacation or "stay-cation" to House on the Rock in Spring Green, WI. Should be fun. I haven't been there since I was like 10 or 11, so it's been a while. It's always an interesting place to see.
