ok, go ahead and call me obsessed  
This morning on the train I thought about one thing and one thing only...

my halloween costume for this year.

I'm going as Bella Swan...it's practically perfect.

I have most of the clothes already so it's cheap (henley shirt, brown corduroy pants, converse, headband)

I've got the hair color, eye color and skin tone down :P

All I really need is to get some sort of wrist brace, and maybe make her charm bracelet...then walk around acting stubborn and prentend to trip and fall a lot. Should be easy. I almost faceplanted just this afternoon while walking down the street.

I was contemplating putting some sort of vampire bite marks on myself for the costume (bitten neck or crescent moon shaped scar on my hand), but then it would just be wrong. Bella never had bites on her neck in any of the books, and she gets the scar on her hand in Twilight and then the wrist brace would make no sense because she gets that in Eclipse when she punches Jacob. I really don't want to be a departure from the character...so that rules out holding an apple too.

I was going to print out a picture of RPattz as Edward and keep it in my pocket all night...lol

I'm super excited now!!

Do it! If you want it to be obvious who you are going as, just do everything. Perhaps even a soft cast, haha. You should print a picture of Edward, cut it in a heart and pin it to your shirt. ♥ OK, maybe not, but it would be obvious who you were!

haha that's a good idea about the picture on the shirt.

I hope we have some sort of cast lying around, like I know my sister has a bandage I could wrap around my arm. She fractured her wrist before so she has this air cast, but that's a little much.

I started making the bracelet last night. I had the charm bracelet (which I bought in Missouri years ago) and took all the tacky little charms off of it. I found another old bracelet that looks like it came out of the gumball machine and it had a little gold heart on it. If I can't find a crystal heart, I'll use that, but I'm more worried about finding the wolf charm.

Do you have a bead or craft store near you? You can get beads, usually for kids, that are animal-shaped. It probably won't be hand-carved by a clingy werewolf, but it might still work. =)

I have had this idea brewing in my head for a little while now, and I was just at a bead store this past weekend. I was looking for charms like that and I didn't see any...so the next stop is Hobby Lobby!

Have you check eBay? They might be expensive, but I bet you someone is selling wolf charms.

that's a good idea as well, but I'm incredibly poor and short on time. But thanks for the suggestion. I think I might just look now anyway, just for kicks.

haha all i need is the pants but my jeans would do and the braces and I'd be bella. My bestie calls me Bella from the twilight books b/c i remind alot of people of her

I don't think I look like Bella, but given the circumstances, and the color of my hair and eyes, I think it's the perfect costume.

i don't think i look like her but i've gotten that i'd be a great actress to play her in the movie from friends...but im fat and bella isn't suppost to be so meh!

haha I always think that I'm Bella if she totally binged on chocolate after Edward left her in New Moon...that explains my fatness (unlike skinny as a stick Bella). That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
